Castro Marim Golf & Country Club is Located near the historic town of Castro Marim and just 40 minutes from Faro Airport, Castro Marim golf course has breathtaking mountain, river and sea views, all part of the spectacular scenery to be enjoyed by those wishing to take walks merely throughout the surrounding countryside. Golfers can also choose to stay on site in one of the villas which all have lovely open views and take advantage of one of our excellent stay and play packages. The Course was designed by Terry Murray and gives pleasure to any level of golfer is this peaceful area of Eastern Algarve. The challenging aspects of the course, whilst providing interest to the expert, are also a test to the ability of the average handicap golfer and yet remain pleasurable to both. Other facilities include A driving range, chipping and putting green to provide ever important practice facilities.
Accommodation
The Accommodation at Castro Marim consists of a choice of Individual villas, Village Houses, and Linked Villas. Each property has either an individual or shared pool. The Individual Villas are spacious with a private and large garden, large pool and with unique breathtaking 360º views over the magnificent coast, golf views and the protected natural reserve. The Village Houses share a nearby large pool and tropical pool with snack bar and terraces. The properties are built to very high specifications and offer a choice of two or three bedroom houses. They are smaller than the linked villas, but have the advantage of being detached. Each property has air conditioning units that cool in summer and switch to warm air in winter – with an open fire for cosy evenings in the winter. Each property includes a Flat-screen TV with Satellite Channels.
