Formby Hall Golf Resort and Spa is a luxury four-star hotel situated in Southport which boasts a fantastic 18-hole Championship course as well as a 9-hole links-style course which means that you have 27 holes of golf to play and enjoy. For non-golfers, the spa at the resort is brilliant with many new and recently refurbished facilities including a 20m pool, a salt sauna, a steam room, a Cosmopolitan Lounge and a Rasal Mud steam room.

Courses

Formby Hall Golf Club is an excellent parkland course situated on England’s golf coast. The golf course is an established venue which has hosted The European Challenge Tour. The course is also famed for its great fairways and brilliantly manicured greens that guide golfers around the picturesque holes. The course measures just under 7,000 yards from the championship tees and features many water hazards and devilish bunkers, delivering a very challenging yet thrilling round of golf.

Accommodation

Each of the 76 individually designed bedrooms has been completely renovated to make sure that the luxury of the rooms is in keeping with the rest of the hotel. All of the rooms are fully air-conditioned with plasma TVs and luxurious ensuite bathrooms and feature the amenities expected from a hotel of this rating and standard. The hotel’s restaurant, Fairway Grill, has recently been refurbished and offers a wonderful menu which is changed seasonally and offers the epitome of fine dining for all meals of the day.
