The Karlstejn Golf resort, set amongst the rural countryside, is a spectacular course encompassing the most romantic of scenery, featuring a backdrop to one of the most famous castles in the Czech Republic and former residence to the historic Czech kings of the past. This course was recognised for its outstanding quality when it was chosen as the venue for the European PGA tour in 2007. Accommodation is provided at The Karlstejn Hotel, just a mile from Karlstejn Golf Resort in the pretty town of Karlstejn, 18 miles from Prague. Golf at Prague City golf (45 minutes drive) and Albatross (30 minutes drive) is included into this package.

Courses

KarlstejnThis course was recognised for its outstanding quality when it was chosen as the venue for the European PGA tour in 2007. The Canadian architects Les Furber and Jim Eremko certainly utilised the undulating landscape to maximise the aesthetic appeal of this golf course. You will have to bring your A game as the course features narrow fairways, tricky greens, numerous bunkers and several water hazards to make it increasingly exciting. The Karlstejn exudes calmness and tranquillity ensuring that each player has full concentration is a peaceful arena. This course is undeniably a sheer delight to play and a great place to unwind and relax whilst enjoying a challenging round of golf.

Accommodation

The Hotel Karlštejn enjoys an elevated position, 100 yards from the main square and 50 yards from Karlštejn Castle. It offers free WiFi and free monitored parking, a spa area and bike rental. Guest will be able to enjoy a free seasonal heated outdoor pool with salt water and exclusive castle views.All rooms at the Hotel Karlštejn offer views of the castle.
