Quinta Do Vale Golf Resort located close to the town of Tavira in the Eastern Algarve is a Seve Ballesteros designed golf course situated in a beautiful location alongside the Guadiana river and combines several tough dogleg holes, reasonably wide fairways with strategically placed hazards that will challenge even the best of players.

The resort also has a good range of facilities including a driving range, practice putting and chipping areas and a golfing academy. Similarly the new clubhouse holds a well-equipped pro-shop, health club and a pleasant bar and restaurant area with a large terrace offering panoramic valley views, where guests can relax after their round. Quinta da Ria Resort, situated in the Eastern Coast, is a well-known golf attraction in the Algarve. Including two spectacular golf courses, Quinta da Ria and Quinta de Cima, both 18-hole golf courses with unforgettable scenery.

Located just over half an hour from Faro International Airport, Quinta da Ria resort is perfectly integrated in the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, the most significant eco-system in the Algarve, comprised of a line of barrier Islands along the coast, making this protected wet-land a rich nature habitat for numerous biological species.

Quinta de Cima is the Championship Course and it offers different and very unique characteristics: wide fairways, well based bunkers and several lake and streams which calls for a good deal of precision playing. The water hazards of the course and the long fairways emphasise the need for a good club selection, challenging even the most experienced players.

Castro Marim Golf & Country Club is Located near the historic town of Castro Marim and just 40 minutes from Faro Airport, Castro Marim golf course has breathtaking mountain, river and sea views, all part of the spectacular scenery to be enjoyed by those wishing to take walks merely throughout the surrounding countryside. The Course was designed by Terry Murray and gives pleasure to any level of golfer is this peaceful area of Eastern Algarve. Benamor Golf Course was the first golf course to open east of the capital of the Algarve, Faro, and lies just outside the city of Tavira. Designed by Sir Henry Cotton he decided to make the old church the clubhouse, which sits proudly in the middle of the complex.

This course offers a pleasant experience, to players of all standards. The course is undulating but not hilly. The views of the mountains to the North and the Atlantic Ocean to the South are stunning. The fairways of Bermuda Sahara and cool-season grasses provide good lies for wood and iron shots.
Players accuracy is particularly called upon by the architects retention of as many of the old trees as feasible. These natural obstacles coupled with strategic placed bunkers and occasional water hazards make the course a worthwhile challenge. This course was selected as the Best Maintained Course in 2001 by the Portuguese Golf Federation.
