Old Tom Morris Links This course was developed in 2005 and now there are 18 holes on the Rosapenna Old Course which will each test you in different ways. This course is the perfect blend of old-fashioned and contemporary holes which are all in immaculate condition and will give you an excellent game of golf. The front nine holes are newer but blend effortlessly into the landscape with some impressive holes, particularly the longer par-4s. The back nine holes are from the original Tom Morris course and through holes 12 to 16 you will get to experience magnificent views but don’t let them distract you from your game or your score will suffer. This course is the less challenging of the two courses at Rosapenna but is a delight to play nonetheless.
Accommodation
There are many different room options but all of the suites offer stunning views of the ocean. This hotel boasts all the facilities that you could want for your next golf break including an indoor swimming pool, a steam room and a sauna as well as a great onsite restaurant and a separate bar. The Vardon Restaurant specialises in local seafood and all of the produce is locally sourced, whilst you are dining here you can experience stunning views across Sheephaven Bay which is especially impressive at sunset. The James Braid Bar has a large range of liquers, beers, spirits, malt whiskies and brandies to try during your stay.
