Muscat Hills Golf Club
Muscat Hills Golf & Country Club is the first of its kind in the region and will be the home of golf in Oman. Muscat Hills has been carefully crafted by the internationally acclaimed golf course designer, Paul Thomas, of Dave Thomas Associates, whose portfolio includes La Manga West (Spain), Seve Ballesteros Golf Club and the Top Players Golf Club (Japan). Natural mountainous surrounds, challenging undulating fairways, greens that require accurate approach shots and ever-present natural wadis that run adjacent to a number of holes make for spectacular golf. This special topography will is home to the Regions most exciting golf. You will likely use every club in the bag. Muscat Hills is the first 18 hole championship grass course in the country.
Al Mouj Golf Course
Along a two-kilometre stretch of pristine coastline, flanking the Indian Ocean and with the stunning Hajjar mountain range in the background, lies a striking oasis of lush green grass, accented with bunkers, water hazards and natural dunes. At 7,342 yards long, the 18 hole Championship Course at Al Mouj Golf is Oman’s first links style course offering amateurs and professionals a challenging, yet rewarding, game of golf. Complementing the Championship Course are world-class facilities including a teaching academy, a floodlit par-3 nine-hole course, Academy retail shop, floodlit driving range and restaurant.
Ghala Golf Course
The Ghala golf course is set into a typically Omani landscape, with the dramatic Al-Hajar mountains forming the backdrop. The snug fit into the valley below makes for some narrow and challenging fairways. You’ll find the course requires more skill than power. The course is a 72 par, totaling 6527 yards off the men’s tees and 5430 yards off the ladie’s tees.
Recent landscaping work has added more bunkers, plenty of trees and greenery and some wider fairways. Be sure to stop and admire the wildlife, particularly the bird life at Ghala. Some resident heron’s often spend their day cooling down in our 18th hole pond!
