If you are looking for a great holiday course which is situated within a beautiful hotel then Fuerteventura golf club is the perfect course for you. This course was designed by Juan Catarineu and opened in 2002 at 6,340 yards long from the back tees and as the first 18-hole golf course in Fuerteventura. A great thing about Fuerteventura Golf is that it is just ten-minutes’ drive from the airport and is close to many of the superb Fuerteventura hotels which means that very little travelling is necessary. This is a beautifully open course with stunning views out to the Atlantic Ocean, this can mean that the course becomes a little trickier when the wind is blowing due to the openness of the fairways here. Fuerteventura Golf is a welcome addition to your next golf holiday to Fuerteventura and is one that you won’t regret taking the time to play, especially if you are looking for something not too testing so that you can relax and enjoy some drinks before and after the round.
Accommodation
Each of the 266 guestrooms at the hotel are spacious and beautifully decorated. They all feature a satellite TV, Wi-Fi and the other amenities that you would expect from a five-star resort. Each of the rooms features either a private balcony or terrace with stunning views but for the sea views you must upgrade your room. Whilst staying here at the Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach, Golf and Spa Resort you will never be short of somewhere fantastic to eat or drink with the hotel’s four restaurants and two bars. Los Arcos buffet restaurant is the resort’s main restaurant and is where you can enjoy both Spanish and international dishes in a buffet restaurant for your breakfast and dinner out on a terrace overlooking the hotel’s gardens. Lunch can be served either as buffet style or a la carte in the pool restaurant (Le Veranda), according to season. There is also a Mediterranean restaurant called El Faro de Antigua and an Asian restaurant called Wok-N-Zen.
