The V Golf Club
The V Golf Club at the Vilnius Grand resort is home to the only PGA Design layout in the Baltics, a genuine championship layout that has been constructed to the highest specification. Measuring more than 7,000 yards from the tips, the V Club is a stern par-72 proposition, although the four sets of tees help to offer an appropriate test. Winding around four huge lakes and amid silver birch and pine forests, the V Club is an exciting new project, opened in the summer of 2009, that makes Lithuania a genuine new option for an exciting golf holiday.
The Capitals Golf Club
The Capitals Golf Club was Lithuania’s first 18-hole layout. Beautiful countryside, mature woodland, lakes and streams set the backdrop for what is an excellent new course. From the tips, The Capitals can be stretched to 6,840 yards from the tournament tees, and is a genuine test even for low-handicappers.
European Centre Golf Club
Located 30 minutes by road from the centre of Lithuania's capital, Vilnius, the European Centre Golf Club - so named because it is in the exact centre of Europe according to the French National Institute of Geography - has helped make Lithuania a viable golf destination in its own right.
This 18-hole championship standard course, designed by top Swedish architect Bjorn Eriksson, is blessed with greens and tees built to USGA standards. At over 7,000 yards, the golf course has been designed to test the best, hosting the Lithuanian championships and international tournaments such as 'Audi Quattro Cup'. However, it has been designed to be user-friendly to beginners and experts alike, and while most golfers will need to employ just about every club in their bags to deal with the many water hazards, including Lake Girija, natural ponds, channels and other natural obstacles, it is perfectly suitable for high handicappers to play as well.
