Praia D’el Rey
Praia D’El Rey is arguably one of the most stunning golf courses in Europe. Set among extensive pine forests and undulating dunes, with spectacular views over the Atlantic and the Berlengas Islands beyond. The 18-hole golf course was designed by the renowned American golf architect Cabell B.Robinson and was inaugurated on 14th June 1997. Deep bunkers, sloping greens and sandy dunes contrast sharply with the lush fairways, making it the complete golfing challenge.
West Cliffs
The varied landscape and natural terrain was maintained undisturbed as possible to create a unique and world class 18-hole seaside links golf course alongside the silver coast. Rolling sand dunes interspersed with coastal vegetation, while the pine groves overlook the ocean from above. Accommodation
Located right onto an oceanic beach, next to the championship golf course guests can access an extensive spa equipped with 8 treatment and massage rooms. Free WiFi is available and the public areas were fully renovated in 2017. The elegant guestrooms of the Praia D´El Rey Marriott Golf & Beach Resort were recently refurbished and include a bath with selected bathroom amenities, TVs with cable reception and air-conditioning. They are classically furnished with a spacious living area.
From their private balconies they either offer views of the ocean or of the golf course. Guests can choose among 2 different restaurants and one bar, serving gourmet dishes from buffets and à-la-carte menus. They offer ocean or pool views, and use mainly selected regional and national products. The Buffet Tempera has themed buffets with international and national cuisine that vary daily. Romy Restaurant has an à la carte menu, while Contato Lobby Bar provides light meals.
There's also a pool bar, where guests can enjoy al fresco lunches, light meals and refreshments.The Praia D’el Rey Marriott also features a health club with a well-equipped gym with cardio and fitness activities, gender-specific Turkish baths, a hot tub, an indoor and an outdoor pool.
